JOB DISCRIPTIONS
1. TECHNICAL DIRECTOR *In charge of all crew members. Make sure things run smoothly for the performance.
9TH GRADE ONLY
JOB:
Make sure that all crew members are here
Divvy out jobs to all crew members
Keep in contact with Mrs. Anderson
Work with the house manager
Maintains order and makes sure that all jobs are completed.
Oversees the shutdown of auditorium
2. HOUSE MANAGER (1) *In charge of the apron up to the balcony. They are the first person to meet the performers to make sure that the requirements are met. Liaison between me, the audience, and the performers. Works with the audience by helping with seating and passing out programs. Watches the doors, balcony and disruptive audience members during performances
JOB:

House is always clean before the performance
All chairs are up and accounted for
Greet the performers and see if there is anything you can get them.
Oversees the clean up of the auditorium and the shutdown of the house.
3. SOUND MANAGER (1) *Oversees the sound crew. *Incharge of the microphones and the sound of the auditorium
JOB:
Make sure all crew members are here
Open sound booth and make sure that all music is accounted for
Shows the performers how to use the equipment
Oversee the application of the equipment
Runs the sound for the performances
In charge of accounting for all microphones
Shutdown the system and lock the sound booth
4. LIGHTS MANAGER (1) *Creates the lighting for performances, Readjusts lights for optimal performance, Runs the light board
JOB:
Make sure crew member is here
Open light booth and start the program
Design the lights for the show
Run the lights for the performances
In charge of working with the crew member on spot light
Oversees shutdown of spotlight
Shutdown booth and turn off lighting system
5. SOUND CREW MEMBER (2) *Works with sound manager, Runs sound for the performance, including music. Applies the equipment to performers or tells the performers how to use the available equipment

Check in with manager
Get equipment ready for use
Apply or explain the used equipment
Run the sound for the show
6. LIGHTING CREW MEMBER (2) *Help lighting manager design and get the lights adjusted for the performance
JOB:
Check in with the manager
Make sure equipment is working properly
Ask to help with any lighting that needs to be down
7. BACKSTAGE CREW MEMBER(2) * On either side of back stage. In charge of all set changes and keeping performers safe, Any task that the Stage manager may ask you to do.

Make sure all set, prop, or performance pieces are in place and ready to go
Talk with performers to see if they need anything
8. HOUSE CREW MEMBER (2) *Runs the house with the house manager, Helps the house manager, helps audience to seats and passes out programs. *Spot light specialists,
